Luxury MIDI controllers MIDI Forte
Microdesignum MIDI Forte is a family of universal and beautiful MIDI foot controllers. They transmit MIDI messages Program Change, Control Change and/or synchronization commands (Sync, Start, Continue, Stop) to a guitar amp, effect or effect processor, which respond by switching to a different sound, channel, etc. They are built with emphasis on easy to use buttons, as well as swift programming and mechanical durability. They work with any gear that is controllable by MIDI. The blue backlight allows comfortable operating even in the dark. They accept phantom power supply and they can be connected to a rack by a single cable. A 16-character LCD display can show the name of each layer (preset).
These controlers come from MIDI Grande line and they have a character display moreover that can display the name of each layer (preset). When connected bidirectionally with Kemper Profiling Amplifier (KPA), TC Electronic G-Major or Fractal Axe-FX, they can display the tuner results. Moreover, they can read and display the preset number from KPA and the status of stompboxes.
Depending on the model, the MIDI controlelrs have up to 16 footswitches, up to 14 of them are for registers and 2 for banks switching. Each register (footswitch) has 2 layers: some MIDI messages can be programmed on the first press (red layer), other commands on the second press (green layer) of a register. Each layer can have programmed up to 8 MIDI messages. Each message can be sent on different MIDI channel. The registers can be globally configured to Program, Stompbox, Momentary, Down or Up mode. It has 32 banks.
Two expression pedals can be connected and fully programmed in each layer: CC number, channel, min and max. The pedals can be globally calibrated for correct computing the full range.
Variants with 1 or 2 expression pedals are available. The pedals are mounted on a thin wooden board.
MIDI Forte controllers can communicate bidirectionally with Kemper Profiling Amplifier, Axe-FX and G-Major: it can visualise the tuner results received from one of these three guitar processors. A rig name and the status of stompboxes can be read from Kemper Profiler and displayed.
A web-based manual is available and many text or video tutorials are on our MIDI Forte forum. Custom adjustments are also possible.

2) Plus variants
These variants include also an Eth connector (EtherCon) for conducting power supply, MIDI OUT and MIDI IN signals via single ethernet cable. An aluminium passive MIDI-Ether connector box for mounting into rack is a part of the package. It splits the signals from ethernet cable to MIDI IN, MIDI OUT and power supply
An ethernet cable is not included. Any standard cable can be used or consider to purchse our ethernet cable with durable connectors. If you use a standard ethernet cable, it must have all 8 conductors connected (some cables have only 4 conductors connected that is sufficient for some network connections).
